Directions and parking
Oral and Facial Surgery at VCU is located at VCU School of Dentistry, which is on the Medical College of Virginia campus in downtown Richmond.
Please review these instructions carefully. Our department has three outpatient clinics. You will be scheduled at one of these locations based on your specific needs. The information for each clinic is listed below.
Clinic #1: The first office is located on the 2nd floor of the Lyons Dental Building (Room 238). You can park at the valet or at the Patient & Visitor Parking Deck on 12th street. Address: Lyons Building, Room 239 520 N 12th Street, Richmond, VA 23298
Clinic #2: Our procedural office (for sedation/anesthesia) is located on the 3rd floor of the Dental Building 1 (Room 315). Valet parking is required for procedural sedation/anesthesia appointments and can be found on the right side when driving down 11th street underneath the building. Clinic #3: Our third clinic is located at the Adult Outpatient Pavillion (AOP) affiliated with VCU Health (14th floor, Rooms 26-30). Free self-parking can be found on the 11th Street entrance on the ground level of the AOP building. Valet can be found on the 10th street exit if preferred. Once parked, you can take the elevators at the parking deck to the ground level and cross to the opposite side of the building to find the main elevators for the 14th floor clinic. From I-95 North (from Petersburg, North Carolina): Take Exit 74C for West Broad Street. Proceed west on Broad Street for three blocks to 11th Street and take a right. Drive two blocks to Clay Street and turn right. Turn left onto 12th Street. The Patient/Visitor Parking Deck entrance is at the end of 12th Street on the right.
From I-95 South (from Washington, Fredericksburg): Take Exit 74C to West Broad Street. Proceed west on Broad Street for three blocks to 11th Street and take a right. Drive two blocks to Clay Street and turn right. Turn left onto 12th Street. The Patient/Visitor Parking Deck entrance is at the end of 12th Street on the right.
From I-64 East (from Charlottesville): Follow I-64 which merges with I-95 South. Remain on I-95 South to Exit 74C to West Broad Street. Proceed west on Broad Street for three blocks to 11th Street and take a right. Drive two blocks to Clay Street and turn right. Turn left onto 12th Street. The Patient/Visitor Parking Deck entrance is at the end of 12th Street on the right.
From I-64 West (from Williamsburg, Virginia Beach): Take Exit 190 for 5th Street and Downtown/Coliseum. Turn left at the 6th Street traffic light onto Marshall Street. Drive six blocks and turn left onto 11th Street. Drive one block and turn right onto Clay Street. Turn left onto 12th Street. The Patient/Visitor Parking Deck entrance is at the end of 12th Street on the right.
